Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Platino Termas, I was keen to explore the balance of luxury and value that this hotel offers. Upon arrival, the friendly staff provided a warm welcome, complemented by a delightful welcome drink—a thoughtful touch indeed. The well-appointed rooms featured flat-screen TVs and efficient air conditioning, ensuring comfort not only in the warmer months but year-round. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a consistently positive experience; the food was expertly prepared, appealing to discerning palates like mine. I particularly appreciated the option of special diet menus, a nod to modern culinary expectations. The hotel’s wellness facilities were impressive, with an outdoor swimming pool and spa & wellness center that included various treatments from massages to scrubs. Interestingly, the presence of a sauna and steam room allowed for a true sense of relaxation. While Platino Termas positions itself within the luxury segment, I found the overall experience justified the price point, especially given the multi-tiered amenities, like 24-hour reception and luggage storage, that efficiently cater to guests' needs without excessive costs. A solid choice for those valuing both quality and prudent investment.
